Why not a sole proprietorship?
The name of a sole proprietorship (ENK) must contain the owner's surname. It appears on every invoice, and you are liable for the debts with your personal assets.
The questions you are going to ask yourself
- Can the AS be founded before arriving, with neither a Norwegian bank nor a BankID?
- Where should the share capital be paid in, and who can certify it?
- Who has to sign what, and in what form?
- Is being on my own company's payroll enough to found my residence?
- What obligations arise from the first salary paid?
How much share capital is needed?
NOK 30,000 at least.
Do there have to be several of us?
No. A single founder, who is also the board member, is enough.
